Insoles and Boot Life

MyDD likes the Nike cleats with Jr Support insoles. My beef with them is that the padding seems to wear out after 2 months. Other than when changing sizes, how do you know when it is time to replace a pair? If it is just the insoles wearing out, are there good replacements somewhere that can be bought for less than the cost of new boots altogether?

Thanks.

Just replace the insoles. My DD has custom orthotics for her cleats, so the first thing she does when she gets a new pair of cleats is to rip out the insole. Most of her college teammates rip out the insoles and replace them with a better insole. I asked my DD and she said a lot of them use the Spenco black support insoles. It all depends on your kids foot. Some kids can get away with cheap Dr Scholls insoles while other kids need an insole that provides support.
