info regarding changing players on roster

can anyone tell me if there a limit to the number of players that can be promoted or demoted from an RL team roster to an RL socal team roster and vice versa from each team's initial roster? Ecnl is impossible to get info from. Thanks in advance

You can have up to 30 players in total be listed at some point on your roster throughout the season. That includes either NL or RL. The transfer between 1 or another is irrelevant. Just the total number of players is the cap. If someone leaves, they still count towards that 30 total.

Just to be annoying + clear, you can have 28 ECNL/RL players per roster and 2 Discovery players. Which ends up being 30 so it doesn't really matter. The Discovery players would be from leagues outside ECNL.

Gotcha. That’s how I read the rule as well. Just looking for confirmation. Our club Rl team for our age division has pretty much broken up. I wanted to see if the RL SoCal team could become the RL team for the spring season.

Do you happen to know if the 30 players roster rule counts for the entire year, both fall and spring seasons?

Yeah, I do see some Discovery players in various teams and wondered how the paying fees work. Do these players pay fee$ to the ECNL/RL club as Discovery players on top of their home club? Or since on most cases these Discovery players tend to be the top talents, many of the clubs allow to pass on the club fees to attract and keep them on the playing roster?

Discovery players are usually free. This is because they can be brought on a team any time of year. It would be difficult to prorate from xyz date.

NO such thing- ECNL and RL are like cheap motels with a new guest every night....
