Hello, some parents have put together a girls 2008 team to play in Las Vegas on Thanksgiving. We need 2 players, preferably a center back and a striker. If interested please direct message me. We have a very good team made up of girls from different clubs. It doesn’t matter where you live, if you have a good player and can show up to Vegas on Friday after Thanksgiving in the morning, then we can register you. You won’t need your player card, we will be using a different organization for player passes. Thank you.

Normally I'd say this is a fun thing to do. At issue is that with the pandemic we currently have teams with the same players together weekly which makes it easier to watch for symptoms and keep the team covid free. Making up a team with players and parents from different teams increases the odds of spreading the virus, thus increasing our total numbers, and possibly bringing covid back to their original team. All of which leads to continued delays getting back to playing soccer. Only worried about total numbers here as all the kids will be fine. Every county is going to end up back in the purple category as numbers climb.
