G2005 Goalkeeper

My daughter is a 2005 keeper currently playing at the 2004 SDDA Flight 1 Level. Since her team may not do as many tournaments coming up, she is interested in playing on loan for any team that may need a Keeper in an upcoming tournament. She can play for either a 2004 or 2005 team.

She does have training and is a very strong keeper. If any team finds themselves needing someone for any upcoming tournaments (G2004/2005), please message me with your information.

Here’s my .02 on what we’ve done in the past. Plan ahead which weekends you have decided you are going to be available to play. Then look at the CalSouth website to see what tournaments are being held that weekend. Figure out which tournament interests you. Location..how much is it going to cost you if you live in North LA County and are driving to SD vs something in VenCo etc. Will you need a hotel? Gas and food for a local tournament vs that long trip. Are you open to playing up a year or even two maybe..depending on what the level of play looks like and if you find a team willing to take a younger GK with experience. After you’ve factored this stuff in it becomes a waiting game. GKs are always in demand. Watch the boards here for the teams looking for a guest GK. If you find something that looks good contact that team.
Good luck!!

Does your player have an individual gotsoccer account? Most should. If not, your team manager can email the login info if you don't know. Login to your player's account and then there is a "guest player" section. You can search for events and then just click the ones you would like to be a guest player for. Coaches can reach out to you or there is also an option to email teams.

Is your DD wants to guest play or YOU want her to? I'm asking because my kid, when was younger, wouldn't want to hear about guesting for another team - he was all about his team and club.
Having a break instead of guesting is also a great option.
