Good luck to all the amazing teams that play this weekend. There are eight teams remaining and anyone of them could win this. Here are my "for fun" predictions.

They roll in this game which is just down the road from their home fields.
Coachella Valley Desert Storm (Silver-Elite South, 4-6-2 GF: 25, GA: 25, Rank #64)
The fifth place team out of the Silver-Elite South. They are a bit of a surprise to make it this far. They knocked out Legacy FC in the previous round. The cinderella run will be squashed in this game.
Prediction: IE Surf Premier RB wins 2-0

Fullerton Rangers White vs IE Surf Lara
Location: San Bernardino Complex 4

Fullerton Rangers White (Gold, 6-6-1, GF: 19, GA: 12, Rank #18)
Heavy favorites to win this game but anything can happen if the wind is blowing out in San Bernardino.
IE Surf Lara (Silver South, 9-1-2 GF: 28, GA: 15, Rank #92)
IE Surf Lara handled a very good OC Premier Orange team (W 2-0) in the sweet 16, so they can obviously compete in this game. Their pool play scores were unimpressive so this team gives the impression that they play to the level of the competition. They had a good run.
Prediction: Fullerton Rangers White wins 2-1

IE Surf HF West vs UIFC Venom SC
Location: San Bernardino Complex 4

IE Surf HF West (Silver-Elite South, 2-10-0, GF: 14, GA: 34, Rank #85)
Rather unimpresive league play, but they have probably had the most impressive run in League Cup so far in ousting a good Futbol Foundation team 2-0 and knocking out a gold level CCU Socal Academy team. They now face off against fellow Silver-Elite South team UIFC Venom in what should be a great game.
UIFC Venom SC (Silver-Elite South, 7-3-2 GF: 28, GA: 18, Rank #39)
Venom has 1-0 and 5-1 wins against IE Surf HF West on their resume, so they are what looks like an obvious favorite to advance. The recent great play from IE Surf will help boost their confidence though. If Venom has their offense clicking on all cylinders this will be their game.
Prediction: UIFC Venom wins 2-1

BYSC Corona United vs Fram Ferren
Location: San Bernadino Complex 4
Date: SAT DEC 03, 1:30PM
BYSC Corona United (Gold, 0-10-4, GF: 8, GA: 29, Rank #43)
Corona struggled in the Gold divsion but they are still a solid team. They have two strong forwards who are a handful for any defense, along with a great center mid and a GK that will keep then in any game. They are short on subs and usually play with only 11 players, but over a 50 minute span that should be no problem. Coming off a PK win over Oxnard.
Fram Ferren (Silver-Elite North, 7-3-2 GF: 32, GA: 14, Rank #75)
Carrying the mantle for any of the Northern divisions, even though they aren't a "north" team geographically. I'm not sure where their stunning 4-1 win over Claremont Stars Black came from. They didn't show anything in pool play pointing to that future result. I think this game ends up scoreless and goes to PKs where Corona probably prevails.
Prediction: Tie 0-0. BYSC Corona wins in PKs
