Trying to figure out if this Fall are 2000 teams allowed to have 99s on the roster? or is this Fall stil 99/98?

If anyone can clarify I would appreciate it.

they would have to play as a U18 team with 99's on the roster (00's would be playing up)

Depends on the league/tournament the team is playing in.

Pretty sure 98's are aged out this June and onto college. The reason they had a 98/99 age group is so the 98's wouldn't be left out of play. Pretty sure brackets will even out as in 99's, 00's, 01's and so on, but they can still play up. Maybe someone currently serving a gaming circuit can chime in?
