All I have to say is I just saw maybe the most impressive soccer I've seen in the 2011 age group this weekend. Hats off to MVLA! We have great soccer in So Cal, but I saw something pretty impressive the last 2 days. This is where soccer can be interesting! Some regions are direct and super athletic, others are precise with passing and using the whole field with possession, and others who typically are the best can do both. I was a doubter of N. Cal soccer, but seriously impressed. They connected passes and extended the field extremely well. All I want to say is you will enjoy this experience a lot more if you enjoy the game and respect the process with which you see some teams build great soccer programs. We have great teams in So Cal and several would probably beat them, but they were like Surf with Blue Press, and Attack. Surf Attack is pretty damn good too. No hating here. Just enjoyed the soccer this weekend at Cerritos Memorial.
