Austin Area- GA and ECNL Olders

Just curious if there has been much movement between the GA and ECNL teams at the older age groups? It seems both leagues are strong in the area so I'm wondering if that impacts player movement.

The top teams for the GA Club (Lonestar) and the ECNL club (Sting Austin) are pretty equivalent. But the conferences are not. Texas ECNL is one of the best, most competitive conferences in the league. Meanwhile, the GA Frontier Conference is very poor.

So even though they are fairly even in talent, Sting Austin is one of the bottom three clubs in their ECNL conference, while Lonestar is one of the top three clubs in their GA conference.

There's been a lot of movement from Lonestar to Sting Austin over the past couple of years as girls sought to play in ECNL league after DA folded. There hasn't been much movement the other way.

Thanks for the perspective, very interesting. So what happened to the existing Sting players after the Lonestar players joined? I would have thought you might have had a back-and-forth between the clubs.
