Fellow G09ers, Fall leagues are about to start this weekend, so it's time for the usual recap and predictions. We will use the current YSR rankings for the latter.
We will use this thread for news or updates throughout the season.

Anyone with a 1.5 score differential or less really could take the top spots as long as they perform consistently. Legends, Utah Royals, Slammers FC and Eagles SC should all be in the mix in Mojave. Sonoran will see Blues and Slammers Koge battling it out for the top spot. LV Surf will run away with Discovery. SDSC and Albion will duke it out for top spot in GA.
 
YSR is not as accurate as it could be right now due to a lot of player movement in the past year, inclusion of COVID out-of-state games, etc. I would give it a half year to stabilize for this age group to get a more accurate picture.

ECNL Sonoran will be Slammers Koge, Blues, Surf and then everyone else.
ECNL Mojave will be Legends on top with Eagles, Beach, Royals, Real So Cal, Slammers 2 fighting for the remaining two playoff spots.
GA - How many of Albion players jumped to Sharks?
Discovery -There should be some entertaining games...I don't think LV Surf necessarily blows out everyone.
DPL - There might be a few decent teams there worth noting (East County Surf?)

Does anyone know how many total SW teams make playoffs? Correct me if I’m wrong but only 16 teams made it last year nationally?

How can you guys tell which team is which on YSR? I see two Beach (Delury) teams, but I know there is only one, for instance. Lots of other examples - like highly rated teams that have no games played since early 2020. Who are they?

SDSC YSR is 29.87 GA looks like it will be close matches all season if YSR is right.
 
Crazy schedule for LV surf this Sunday in Discovery!
An 11am game in Temecula and then a 4pm in Oceanside! They’ll better hope for no traffic…
