MLS Next released recruiting info for last season

MLS N is stating that 1,661 players will be joining college teams this year after competing in MLS N last season. Would be interesting to compare to ECNL boys and see if it's continuing to shift. I can't find a reliable current # for ECNL, but would be ecstatic if someone could point us to it.

Wonder if that includes both HD and AD divisions for college. I have seen ECNL stats for the girls side in prior years, but nothing on the boys side.

My assumption is that if any AD kids let them know that they were successfully recruited - they almost certainly are including them in that number. My expectation would be there aren't many of them at the D1 or even D2 level, but I can't imagine the number is zero either for any college program.
