What part of the ACA has made healthcare more affordable?
Obamacare actually has been fairly popular. However, people are paying much higher premiums for coverage that they don't use, don't need and/or don't want because of the limited plans available under Obamacare. Republicans shouldn't try to overturn Obamacare, but should offer more choices so insureds aren't paying for services they don't need. Combine that with tort reform and more prescription drug deals and you could put a dent in health insurance premiums.
Another reason why nobody here takes you seriously.

The CDC had decades of studies showing masks do not work. But suddenly Fauci and others told us forget those studies and believe us now that masks work...and oh by the way...keep a 6ft distance from other people (that was made up too on their part).
He was also an expert and discovered that the reason covid kept spreading was due to bars being open.

Too bad you aren’t in charge, but you aren’t and those that are want the crappy hollow “healthcare plans” we had before the ACA that left people with coverage wanting. How many were once dropped, not able to qualify, priced out of the legitimate market? It wasn’t pretty, premiums were skyrocketing and customers were helpless. Is it better? In some ways far better, perfect? No. Nationalized healthcare is the only way to go. All other major nations do just fine. I know Brits, Belgians, Swedes, Canadians, French, Spaniards, Mexicans, Aussies, Kiwis, Japanese (of course) and South Africans, never heard a complaint, quite the opposite.

I think that was warranted given the contagious nature of Covid. However, after 2-3 months we knew more than enough about Covid to change to more targeted and less excessive policies. Many took "better safe than sorry" to an illogical conclusion. Fear was exploited for power and control.
