Today in Fascism

We pay our employee's health insurance, it doesn't get much cheaper than that. I would hope your union negotiated healthcare as part of your compensation as well.

Obamacare has been popular, but not cheap because many are forced to pay for coverages that they don't need. Other than nationalized healthcare that the socialists are proposing, I haven't heard a proposal from either party.
Yes the republicans did a good job making sure the ACA wouldn’t be as good as it could’ve been and they’ve been undermining it ever since (without any plan of their own, remember “repeal and replace, maybe in one day!”). Damaging something then saying it doesn’t work seems to be a pattern.

Crazy to see those you love showing their true political colors under the light. Wow, I lived with some selfish people who would smile at me and then stab me in the back with a smile. The Usery on this planet is insane. Dr. Evil and his evil band of brothers poisoned us and dropped a financial nuke bomb on small business in CA, MN & NY. The stories I'm reading about are heart breaking. I know many who built successful small business in SoCal over 20 years only to see the lockdown and mask mandates and compliance knock out businesses for good. It was a deliberate attack from the Crew. I know three people WHO died after taking the jabs. I also know folks who got blood clots and Bell's Palsy. These are just the people I know. It's so evil and we still have a few with insane TDS and JDS.

Listen to Dr. RFK Whacadoo Jr. A former cocaine addict turned health professional. Listen to this guy folks. He is now 100% saying Covid 19 was manmade bioweapon and deliberately released on the world. These psychopaths then told States to go on lockdown and destroy small business and the middleclass. Forced mask or no entry to buy, eat and sell. Then they forced no jabs, no job.

It's been a crazy 4 days.

Crazy shit to look back on how this all went down. They had to find a way to cheat and get their Pedo guy installed from his basement. Dude got a record 81,000,000 votes. The psychopaths got what they wanted, the child rapits got what they wanted and those who only care about making money got what they wanted.

The closest these “journalists” should come to reporting again is a box of crayons and the back of paper waiting to be recycled.

Maybe he can offer life and 80 virgins. Seems better than death and 72 virgins.
That’s the thing the extremists in charge don’t care. Remember, these are the kind of people that will willingly strap bombs to their bodies to blow up some infidels when cornered. Life isn’t as precious to them, theirs or yours.

A good summary of human nature and how it differs from the confident to the arrogant.

I came across something that I liked, and it really does define the ignorance driving Donald Trump and his MAGA cult.

Patriotism: The love of your country, with the understanding that other nations have no impact on how you feel about where you’re from or how you view your nation.

Nationalism: The belief that your country is superior to everyone else’s based on various cultural identities. It’s an insecure belief typically held by people who, otherwise in life, feel inferior.

Basically, it’s the same stance I’ve had on confidence vs. arrogance.

For years, I’ve said confidence is quiet. If a confident person loses, they want to know how they can get better — how they can improve. The actions and behavior of others have no impact on them because all they can control is themselves. They’re not made to feel insecure by the success of others.

Whereas arrogance, which is often mistaken for confidence, is driven by insecurities and a perpetual victim mindset. If someone loses, or something isn’t going their way, it’s not because of anything they did — it’s because “something” was inherently unfair.

You know, like Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, where everything that doesn’t go how they want it to is some sort of conspiracy against them. It’s never their fault.

Blame Democrats, liberals, immigrants, people of color, the media — you name it. Whatever it is, it’s not their fault; it’s all “rigged against them.”

This is one of the many reasons why I don’t consider these people patriots; they’re nationalists.

They hate over half the country, most of our Constitution, our system of checks and balances, and they have no problem turning on any veteran who might speak out against Trump. They’ve shown that the only thing they consistently believe in is “owning those libs” and whatever nonsense Trump happens to be selling them at any given time.

You can’t claim to love the United States, then believe in some version of it that’s never existed while showing complete disdain for many of the foundational pillars of the country.

They don’t love our democratic constitutional republic. In fact, they hate it.

What they want is a right-wing autocratic theocracy built upon their own warped, cherry-picked version of fake “Christianity,” where they control everything and anyone who doesn’t like it can leave — because only their ideas are good, and everyone else’s are inferior.

That’s nationalism, not patriotism.

And you’ll not find a weaker, more pathetically insecure individual than Donald Trump. I’ve never seen a more easily triggered snowflake in my life — someone consumed by petty grievances, where opponents such as Barack Obama and Joe Biden live rent-free in his head every single day. A person who views anyone else’s success as a threat to him.

When you get right down to it, the MAGA movement is essentially a group of insecure nationalists who exist in a world where, deep down, they feel inferior to everyone else. Their only resolve is a nationalistic worldview driven by hate, fear, conspiracies, and a desire to bring others down while desperately trying to elevate themselves. ~ AC

I just want to make something very clear: none of this sh*t is normal.

In just the past few days, we've seen:

The Department of Justice prove that Donald Trump has been lying about what caused the failure at the Reflecting Pool by dropping its charges against a former Olympian, citing flawed installation and a rushed timeline as what led to the surface peeling — not "vandalism."

This prompted the president to lash out at Jeanine Pirro and his own DOJ, doubling down on his lies about "vandalism," even though his own administration just admitted in court that there's no evidence of "vandalism."

In other words, Trump is trying to prosecute innocent Americans just to avoid admitting he screwed up the repairs of the Reflecting Pool.

Then there's the story that came out that, back in 2021, Capital One shut down more than 300 accounts affiliated with the Trump Organization due to activity that triggered an anti-money-laundering compliance review. The review determined there was enough suspicious activity linked to these accounts that the bank decided to sever ties with Trump.

Let's just all try to imagine what the conservative media and the GOP would be saying today if a Democrat were linked to a major bank shutting down more than 300 financial accounts tied to their business due to credible concerns that they were connected to money laundering.

Republicans would already be in the process of setting up congressional investigations, and the conservative media would spend weeks obsessing over it.

Though that could be said for basically everything I'm going to bring up in this post.

Then there's the story of Trump selling early access to his social media activity to banks and trading firms for $100,000 per month, or $2.16 million on a three-year contract, to provide early access to his "market-moving posts."

In other words, this president is, quite literally, trying to profit from insider trading based on his own market manipulation.

It is easily one of the most corrupt acts by a president in history.

We can't forget Trump's meltdown over the struggle to get Todd Blanche confirmed as attorney general, where this president effectively admitted that the acting attorney general lied under oath a few weeks ago when he said his slush fund was "dead" — as, over the weekend, Trump continued to defend the "settlement" where he sued his own government and had his DOJ "settle" for $1.8 billion of the taxpayers' dollars.

That explained why they were so elusive about putting anything in writing that this slush fund was "dead," because they were clearly trying to ram Blanche through, then revive it once he was officially attorney general — something Trump was clearly too stupid to realize he all but admitted with his weekend posts.

Then there was Trump blaming an Iranian cyberattack on water systems in Minnesota on Gov. Tim Walz.

Yes, because even when this nation is attacked, Trump is too unhinged, immature, and petty to put political grievances aside and stand up for this country.

Nope. He denied intelligence assessments that showed the Iranians were behind the attack and, instead, attacked Minnesota and its governor because this president is a lowlife piece of crap.

And these are just a few of the scandals that came out over the past few days that are linked to this president. I'm not even getting into the ongoing disaster that is Trump's Iran war, how we're now headed toward six months of this mess with no end in sight, and how this president, like the movie Groundhog Day, just keeps repeating the same crap about "a deal is imminent" — because he's relying on his supporters to be stupid enough to continue to believe anything he says.

I cannot say this enough: none of this sh*t is normal.
