My foster Papa had the same look from Parkinsons. That evil disease taught me about suffering and what evil man can do to other humans. His room was next to my room. My foster mom needed her sleep, so I took over to help her. Poor guy would scream, "help me, help me," all night long. I would run in and sometimes he needed my help at 3am and sometimes he was just having nightmares. Either way, I would go help him, regardless if I was wasted from a long night out with the fellas. I was only 17 years old, but it taught me to help others, especially your foster dad. He was such a great man. Who on earth would take in 8 foster care kids' and adopt 6 of them. I love that man so much and miss him. Poor Ali, Parkinsons is a bitch.
