Yet ANOTHER question from a new GK mom

Saw a keeper fracture his wrist at my nephew's training a few weeks back. Weak wrists are a recipe for disaster for keepers.

My kid went through about 3+ years of getting banged up. Tore ligaments in his thumb during practice, plantar fasciitis, severs, shattered big toe on growth plate, knee to knee injury not to mention his exercise induced asthma...

I think all players will go through some injuries but if they push through most will be better mentally.

GK glove smell. Funny. It's gnarly! They need to wash their entire backpack from time to time as well! How many pairs of gloves do you usually have for your GKs?
I was given a tip from a national keeper coach. We wash our DDs gloves but after every practice and game we have her put in natural air freshener socks into her gloves. They are a combination of bamboo and charcoal. Took some time to get her into the habit but it's worth it...for all of us. Here's the item on Amazon...https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N5TSNVR/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Those look great! Thanks!
I wonder if I couldn't just throw some baking powder in a sock, though. Maybe that would be too messy.
