It is united cup...very disapointed with things 3 day tourny 2 games sat 1 sunday and 1 mon. 4 groups of 3 teams with only winner advancing. Bracket a and b are heavy and c and d seem to have the easier way to the finals in my opinion.

That is frustrating - NHB is actually having quarter finals, semis, and a final so two teams will advance from each group. Games are at Westminster High so don't know what fields are like.

After being promised quarters and full length games, it is a major bummer. I saw it said on more than one occasion. The breakdown is brutal, why not play the final on Sunday evening? Our 8:00 and 5:00 on Saturday are bad enough, but then we could come back for a meaningless game on Sunday at 2:00. A tournament at this level should never have a meaningless consolation game to meet the 3 game quota.

Exactly and this tournament is higher in price as well. We also have a 8am and 5 pm game.

NHB has always been a more superior tournament than United Cup when it comes to competition and number of games. I don't know why teams keep signing up for United Cup since they are more expensive, don't provide as good competition, and play fewer games. Can you get your money back (or get a discount) if they don't follow through what they claim to offer?

Correct. Brackets are being changed to Groups of 4 teams--had to get gotsoccer involved to modify bracketing. Btw. If there is a flight of 16 teams or greater then quarterfinals will be implemented. This is the way it's always been. You really can't have quarters with 12 teams.

Should be back up in a couple hours.

That is true, but a consolation game is a no-no. 3 bracket winners and a wildcard, especially given bracket A.
