Yup and at least they played up.
Albion cup had 2 da teams including the 03' host that played thier own age group in a regular tournament /wo da rules.
Golden State da 03' played up in the 02 group in the Murrieta Surf tourny and won.
There are more examples but being preseason with players that will later become da is normally ok especially when you play up and let da know beforehand.

Congrats to them, impressive. My son is on FCGS and we lost to the Celtics in the semi's. We didn't think LAUFA could get past them and they did. Kuddos.
