I know this is really nerdy, but to get a sense of the strength of the group, I cross-referenced with ranking/score from Youth Soccer Rankings USA. (I couldn't find PSV Union or Surf Hawaii in the rankins and I wonder if the Real Henderson team is correct since the score is so low.)

Did anyone get to see the Anaheim Surf team play for Surf Cup? Can anyone share their perspective on the team?

labanLB you could try YouTube and see if they have any games posted to check out. I know a lot of teams have games recorded.
Redhawk just remember these are 9/10 year old girls. You never know if they go on these forums and might see the negative comments and take it personally. We should be here to help and not tear down other teams/clubs.

Thank you for the suggestion. We all know, no matter the sport, that athleticism will only take you so far. I'm talking in term of the age group. What matters is the coach is drilling in skill and technique. From my research I hear the coach develops. Thanks again for the info.

Here's what I would do if I was considering that team

1. Go watch some of there games
2. Go watch their practice
3. Ask the parents of current players and past players what their experience was like
4. I would look at the DOC for the youngers program
5. If all those check out for you. Have your dd guest and go to some practices
