we were just waiting for you to start the bragging,...like you did hear:

oh wait,..sorry. that was back when you were on the team before you turned into a pathetic disgruntled former soccerdad lurking on forums trying to blame others for the mistakes you made raising your child.
    carry on.

I'm confused. You're saying ilovethisgame wants to brag about how Eagles did at Surf Cup?

From what was observed, at this time, both Slammers FC and CDC are head and shoulders above the rest of the teams. Slammers winning surf cup having played collectively together a minimum amount is pretty amazing and special. They will be a force to be reckoned with all year. Congrats.

Both great teams but not sure about being heads and shoulders above. CDA Slammers squeaked into Surf Cup semis with a late 2nd half goal to tie Blues. Pete's Slammers lost to Legends few weeks ago. Eagles had a poor showing at Surf but they do have Man City title and are defending state cup champs. Liverpool is still a strong team. And there are a number of other teams that you can't fall asleep against (OC Surf, Albion, SD Force, etc.).

I like that there are a lot of quality teams in this age group and that no one team dominates.

It's always very interesting to me how strong the Eagles teams start off in the Younger age groups, but spend 2 years with TK and the drop off in development is pretty vast. Win early but don't seem to develop.

Let me clarify the head and shoulders comment; what you said above may very well be true, I don't watch for results.

These two teams (Slammers and CDA) overall speed, skill, IQ, power, midfield and defensive play, was well above average for this age group. I watched other games at this age group in Surf, and their speed of play was much lower including a couple of the teams you mentioned above.
