Southern California National Premier League

Usclub spring open league with mostly coast soccer league teams that play out of the IE sports Complex in San Bernardino.

Comp appear to be good but not great with mostly Gold to SE type teams with a sprinkle of premiere in the olders for example.

With National Cup, CRL, and other Spring tournments going on gets crowded on the calendar so some of better CS teams take a pass on this one.

The other usclub league https://www.nplwest.com has better comp but it's not open and you need to be with an academy club to get in.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

I was curious about it, as I guess my older daughter's team is going to be part of the Spring games this next year. I guess her coach signed the team up for it.

Great experience, hopefully your team has a larger roster as the games are during high soccer periods as mentioned above and you'll be missing players throughout for various reasons. Good Competition, less pressure and a great opportunity for teams to get used to speed of play at the higher levels, great tune up for National Cup and a great way to look at player's for next season without committing. The only down side is, games are far.

It is a good way to get an older team back in form after HS.
It offers a pathway to the US Club Soccer National Championships.
It can be a grind if you aren't from LA, OC or IE.
The team gets a nice uniform patch if they are into that.
You can roster players from other Cal South clubs because you aren't registering with US Youth Soccer.
