SCDSL Spring Showcase - Is this new?

Same weekend as the opening weekend of Presidents (and Governors) for 2004 and older.

I guess our team won't be playing in Del Mar that weekend.

They are selling this as a NATIONAL Cup tune up so I doubt that teams playing Presidents would had even gotten in.

Wonder if this might end up like their spring league...not enough interest or teams to make it worth it.

Even though "free" for Discovery it's sandwiched between CRL & Nat cup so those teams likely don't want to travel for yet another consecutive weekend. Usclub spring leagues play that weekend also.

Colleges have limited time & travel budgets so don't see how a new small time league tournament that time of year will attract many but at least the location is nice for travelers.

Come on Mijo, Really .... They want to get in on the profits! Maybe next they will want to promote concerts and have a carnival too. Maybe csl and AYSO will be next.
