Recommendation for videographer

Hello
Can you recommend a couple videographers who would record games at Norco? If you have links to their sample works, that woudl be great. Thnx

Honestly a person to record games is gonna cost you 200 plus per game, there are some great guys out there though. Pricey but worth it for big games like State Cup, etc..... If its a tournament you might get lucky if he has numerous games and you might be able to get a deal. They'll do the post production too and give you DVD's as well, http://www.sportsvideousa.com/ Not sure if DVD's are worth it might ask for a discount and say you just need a video file.

When are the games?

I just bought a 25' Hi-Pod setup. Definitely not a pro but the first 4 videos I did worked out pretty well:

(Keep in mind YouTube cuts the quality a bit, they look better from the SD card. thinking of getting a Vimeo account.)

If I can work it into my schedule, I'd do it for $150/game and give you the a copy on a jump drive to do with as you wish if I can use the video for training purposes.

Cheers
Brett

Your camera work looks great. I'd like to get more info on purchasing a set up like you did.
Feel free to PM me if you'd prefer.

We found someone who could do it this weekend. Thanks for all the recommendations and offers. I do want to see if we can record ourselves in the future, could you post or PM me your set up?

Thanks!

Its a HiPod LX25

Tell them Brett in Havasu sent you. They're very helpful.

Happy to help.

Nice. That's a sweet set up. Are you planning to use it for personal/player/team use or will you be offering services for sale?
I'm surprised there isn't some sort of iphone/selfie stick type of attachment out there that is a bit cheaper.

Right now I am using it for the team. Many of our parents can't travel to the games to watch their boys play for financial reasons. I am working on a streaming setup so they can watch live at home.

I had thought I could use it to generate funds for the team as well. Every little bit helps.

I record in HD(1080p/60fps) with a system I built for under $800.00 it includes New Camcorder, tripod (14' high), remote Tilt and Pan head, and I just use my existing iPad as a field monitor. Love it and so does the team, last year we filmed with a similar set up with a go pro but we couldn't zoom.

This year I did the research and well I'm pretty stoked with the way they are turning out. The most expensive part was the camera-$550.00-
Our videos are awesome , if I had a existing camcorder it would have been alot cheaper. You go from SDcard to Imovie and Youtube Uploader and boom....

Youtube will play whatever it was recorded (and uploaded) in, up to 1080p. Just click the gear at the bottom and change the resolution. This assumes your connection can support the bandwidth needed.

Of Course. just find a reputable seller on amazon, you cannot beat this set up.
Camera is where I made a mistake , I thought connecting to monitor via wifi was the way to go BUT the lag is about .5 to 1 sec at times so it takes practice to get used to , and if you playing inner city with alot of apartments around you get a ton of interference and things slow down, found that out playing in the Santa League. When you buy a camera look at Canon's or Sony purely for the ability to hardwire a monitor and zoom controller (Field monitor can cost for a battery powered one about 140.00 and the zoom hardwire controller is about 75-100 bucks) Panasonic you can hardwire monitor but not zoom, so I might macgyver something there. Good luck any question hit me up more than happy to help you save $$$.

Tripod $52.00-70.00
was purchased on Amazon, its specifically made for lighting rigs that photographer's use for flash bulb BUT it comes with a adapter that screws into your Camcorder or DSLR cameras.

Pan/Tilt remote Control unit--$125-175.00
https://www.amazon.com/Bescor-MP101...rd_wg=2XYba&psc=1&refRID=079V5H28BKTFQH272E1A

iPad holder or field monitor holder--50.00

You can tell I geeked out but watching our videos in HD on Youtube is legit. Just like someone mention above if your bandwidth or download speeds are slow the video are automatically adjusted so you might watch video is 480 or 720 which is horrible after your watch them in 1080p HD.

I will buy the above + camera. Will you put up a youtube video on how you connect all these pieces together? Obviously I'm technically challenged.
