This was brought up and forwarded to me so thought I would share, what's are your thoughts on the subject?
I purposely never coached (baseball or volleyball was my background) any of our kids because I felt they should be some separation between coaches and parents and not sure I knew how to do that.
As a parent best I could do is life coach them or show them some techniques, skills, or discuss tactics if they brought that up. Pretty chill in general and rarely excitable unless its the finals or end game that's involved.
