New rules for 2023-2024 season

The Sac United 09g team disbanded (mostly former Pumas players that also won state cup and disbanded the previous year) after spring and didn't have a team to send to ecnl-rl championship is the reason they weren't listed. Not sure about the other age groups. it will be interesting to see if GA is willing to enforce the rule and shoot themselves in the foot or not???.....

"In both the NorCal G09 and G08 groups a GA team placed high enough (and a DPL team) in the NorCal NPL/ECRL brackets to move onto the ECRL West Playoffs taking place at Silverlakes in a couple of weeks. However, they are not on the teams list for ECRL Playoffs. It looks like ECRL placed the next highest NPL teams into the playoffs."
Sacramento United 09 GA is scheduled to play in the GA national playoffs this week in New Jersey. Who is showing up to play that?

In the Northeast...

- ECNL introduced ECNL2 which is basically a 3rd level (ECNL then ECRL then ECNL2)
- GA introduced GA Rising which is a 2nd level GA but the teams participating in the league aren't all GA clubs

Both appear to be funnels for clubs into ECNL or GA + a way for the bigger leagues to box out the smaller ones.

Something like this will probably come to Norcal soon.

Within GA you can pad your team roster with younger age girls in your club. 2010's in this case. Sac United isn't an ecnl club so they couldn't pad the ecnl-rl roster since their 10's team isn't ecnl also

Not sure what you're saying here. All GA and ECNL teams allow players that are under a certain age to be (U13 as an example) to be rostered. Usually 2011s playing on a 2010 team won't make as big of an impact as 2010s that are born Jan 1st. But there are always exceptions.

My daughters club has teams in GA, DPL and NPL. Does anyone know if a player can play in most games for the Club's DPL tam and a few games for the Clubs NPL team?

Thanks in advance!
