With all do respect. Things didn't work out between our new coach and the kids.
You make it sound personal that boca didn't get in the poll. Where does your kid play.

We played both West Coast (in scdsl) with Coach Wallace and Boca in the summer. Boca should have been in the poll, but imo the West Coast team we played in Sep/Nov was a better side. They had quality all over the field vs. a couple players making the difference. Not sure what happened in addition to the coaching change, but they were by far the best team we played in scdsl. SCDSL flight 1 couldn't have been that horrible as Strikers and Hawks are into the semis. With that said, I would say Valley United v Boca favorites to meet up in the final.

Next year will be very different as a group of best 02's return from DA, others leave for ECNL. Impossible to predict.

Congrats to Valley! They won 2-1 over Hawks.

I'm still stunned that Hawks beat Boca. I thought for sure it would be a Boca v. Valley Final. Congrats to Hawks for a great tournament run.

This age group has really turned itself on its head after the birth-year/DA changes of the past year.

Not much activity in this forum anymore, but Regionals were this week. The semi-finals start tomorrow but unfortunately there is no CalSouth representation. West Coast lost 3-1 today in the quarterfinals to a team from Utah and Valley failed to get out of the first round.
