Messi played in multiple true academies as a youth + was a stand out player the entire time.

It's safe to say that he'd be good no matter where he played. As long as there's HGH ;-)

He joined Nuls at 6 and scored 4 goals in his first game. His academy team almost never lost and he went on to Barca at 13. I'm pretty sure even we'd be able to recognize that talent.
