Yes, that's Dave Alvin on guitar.
Exene sounds like shit in that video.
I met her and John Doe in Hollywood years and years ago.
JD was humble and cool.
I met them in TJ . . . once again we are towards opposite ends of the spectrum.
I just liked the Dave Alvin link between them and The Beat Farmers.
TK is kind of a meat head, but this is a great song for the 4th.
. . . but he knows he is a meathead and plays off of it, that's what makes it fun.
Reminds me of other Arkies I know.
Check out the words to this one,

This is the best version of this great song, with the legendary Roy Nichols on guitar.
"Luv it 'r leave it."
I saw him in concert 10 years ago and he had marijuana leafs dancing up on stage.
Took him off my list.
Great music though.
Yes, yes Joe, go ahead and drink yourself into a coma, but God forbid you take a toke and get the munchies. The 1930's called and want their racist based thinking back!
I dont care if he smokes weed.
I saw him, and David Allen Coe came out with him for the encore, and they performed the greatest country and western song ever written.

Nothing racist about not liking weed.
Leave the race card out of the deck when you shuffle next time.
It doesnt look good when you throw it on the flop every single time.
Seriously? That is as nice as I can be, you took that as racist? Because I don't like pot promoted to young people by one of there stars?
You just can't help yourself, perfectly innocent post and you piss on it.
The laws outlawing marijuana enacted in the 30's were encouraged by racial hysteria about black and hispanic men seducing young white women with puffs of demon weed.
Most of the "war on drugs" has been racially motivated or at least the results of which have ended in racial disparities.
