California Soccer League

While I had heard about about this league, I never knew what it was called or any other information. They recently had an add in the San Diego Reader. I had never seen one previously. They have youth, men's and women's leagues.

My only critique would be to encourage them to develop a girl's league.

Coast Soccer League use to have an affiliate league with Mens/Womens teams. Not sure they still do because the league has now renamed itself.

I am sure they are recreational. This appears to be one of the leagues that are generally referred to as "Mexican Leagues". I think these leagues are very important and know of some great players that have come out of these leagues. Are there other, similar leagues in San Diego?

https://www.facebook.com/CHYSL/ Son played in this league from u10 to u16 when he aged out. Excellent competition. Not the greatest facilities, but a huge amount of kids and teams at all younger ages. The experience was great and made the kid a lot stronger and exposed him to kids that never play club ball. Highly recommend it.

There is another in the Chula Vista area and I can't remember the name.
