Academy season

lol@ RSC

They might've made sweet 16 at Nationals. P4P, that's not a Real So. Cal academy.
RSC lost a good coach mid-season, I guess once he figured out what's really going on.
90% of '03 academy boys are going sideways for the sake of those wins.
Not easy to be a real academy in this little-league environment. Check out an '02 GSA game and see for yourselves. Club del barrio.

I talked to that RSC coach, club basically didn't let him coach or run things like he wanted.

GSA needs to support there academy a bit better, that highland pitch they play for home games is so far removed, narrow, in poor shape that it's no better than playing in dirt. Spend a couple dollars more and get a sutiable field.

The have some good players and coaches but hit & miss some years & teams. Olders on the outside of the playoffs this year, maybe a WC for the u15/16.

The amount of cards and suspensions are going up and there where a bunch this weekend in this age and others. Pressure to win and keep playing time from coaches and parents not helping IMO.

Too bad for RSC...

Regardless of anything they just don't have the quality and technicality to play possession.

It was a lose lose situation. Wish coach best of luck!

Here's a wild guess as to what happened: So the academy tells the clubs there isn't going to be a table for the 2003's. That's how they do it in Belgium and that tiny country kicked our ass. Actually, the academy will keep their own table just not publish it. Your club's seeding at showcase relates directly to the wins. Parents too make their own tables because none of us know why the Belgians don't keep tables for the youngers, just that they kicked our asses so there must be something to that.
Maybe a real coach would have some of his talented 04's play up, as I'm pretty sure that RSC coach did. After all, this is developmental academy.
Parents are not happy, especially the parents of the taller, faster (just not really talented) boys who sit on the bench. The gifted prepubescent kid gets bodied, out-run, out-booted by the tall fast boys on the other team. Now everyone's furious. We're going to play who at showcase? Time to text the DOC.

LA GALAXY 1-2 LAUFA---------THE BIG AND MIGHTY LA GALAXY--- LOL

Wait, the same Galaxy team that some claimed were so above the rest, the rest didn't deserve to compete against them?

In all seriousness, please elaborate how this result came about? Was Galaxy playing at full strength?

We should probably ask Ricky Torres.

LAUFA take them all ...U12, U13 2-1, U14 3-1 Yes all three age groups

The smallest nonprofit club rules the day..... LA United Futbol Academy

#NOexcuses 22+ man rosters

First we laugh and joke about results not mattering at this age group... then when Galaxy loses we celebrate? #hypocrisy

results don't mean shit, and a few jokes here and there at the expense of those that like to brag is hardly celebrating. Enjoy your kid's game and development without putting down others, some teams might be a few steps back in their development because of age or past exposure. The field will be leveled soon.

according to the game report Galaxy sat most of the starters. hmmm.....:confused:o_O

Both Johnny's were with the 2002's. And kevin had a red card last game against RSC. No excuse, LAG has a better individual team but LAUFA plays as a team. No "super stars" coaching was for far better on the LAUFA side. You can tell that group is well connected and you can clearly see the work, pressing was the key. LAUFA played with 9 starters both Jamaican kids didn't plays Both are injured, LAUFA has 8 younger 2003's plus 1 2004. I heard Brian from LAG saying he was going to get rid 70% of those players, that means they will be on the hount for the next few months. Lol There's no question about LAG has a better team. Second could be FCGS and tied LAUFA. But You can clearly see FCGS and LAUFA teams are way much better worked tactically and strategically. You can see LAUFAS 2003 Program is bringing results and FCGS consistency is paying off! But again. It's only the beginning. One game could mean nothing. Play safe playas!

Two unexpected wins and a waxing. LAG only used one sub? Sheesh. Someone have intel on Strikers/RSL or Pats/GSA? The latter is the 2nd big loss Pats have suffered to GSA, just a bad match up for them?
