How do they pick the showcase teams to play each other?? Is it random? teams that are not in your regular league grouping?

It varies from age group to age group. Some come earlier and some later. For example 05's play two weeks before the 06's.

Weren't there 2 Showcases last year? One towards the beginning, one towards the end. Or did I imagine it?
