Manchester City Cup 2017

Its funny he doesn't even know his team or club plays kickball!! I'm amazed how he transitions from coach to ref so seamlessly back and forth throughout the game. Calling offsides from 50 yards away..begging for a call without a sign is truly Genius!!!!
Wait I'm a little lost on this thread, (which is hilarious right now). Who are we taking about here?

I understand that, but please also don't say anything negative about our team. We are all on here to discuss and we have had good discussions on here. Mostly postiitve ones, I would never say anything bad about your team. I get it, he has a DD on a top team that I think is obviously well respected in the 2007 age group but act like a state cup champion and show respect at the same time. Just sticking up for my DD's team. I know your kid impacts that Surf team and I enjoy reading your post and comments. I can't say the same for Chaufer. Don't say a smart comment and expect not to catch some flak for it.
So wait, did I miss something in your post making negative remarks about a child sitting the bench, and then in your next post ask someone not to say anything negative??

I'd like to say honestly, and I'm a new member, that my daughter, does not punt the ball to intentionally score. She loves the sport and has a great left foot. With that being said, she did score from a punt three years ago (I don't remember against who) and that single play has followed her until today. She is the ODP '06 gk and has lots to learn. The 9v9 fields are just too small for all the 06 girls. I can assure you she doesn't take advantage and she can throw just as far.

This was pertaining to the post mentioning "taking advantage of scoring from punts or midfield. #stilllearningtopostonthisforum

I think the rules this weekend for limiting the punts to midfield actually helped with the games. I'd agree with you that for some of the 06 teams the field sizes can get way too small. I did think the Man City fields were adequately sized. Certainly for the 07's.
Congrats to G and her team for an impressive weekend.

Great weekend, fun tourney!!
Congrats to Surf on the win!
Really great game, always a nailbiter playing you guys!! Such nice girls on that team & classy parents, always a pleasure :)

Likewise. You know it is always going to be a very good game when these two teams hook up. There certainly could have been a few more goals scored for both sides and the credit needs to go to both keepers who were excellent.

Yes-- both goalkeepers were AMAZING....it really could have went either way...thought all the girls from both teams really battled and gave it their all-- hope to play you guys again this summer!!
