Can goalkeepers use an optical illusion to influence pk's

Since pk's overwhelmingly favor the shooter, can keepers use an optical illusion to influence the shooter and even the odds. This interesting article seems to provide data that says they can.

I missed the point about evening the odds. The unanswered question is whether the effect of influencing shots close or far from the keeper can help the keeper's odds. One would think getting the kicker to place a shot closer to the keeper would help the keeper, but making them go farther could cause a shot to go wide. Interesting topics, though.

Of course, most missed PKs (aside from a few great guess saves) go wide of the frame or right at the keeper , which are unforced errors. In my experience, the best defensive tactics at the youth level are those that delay, increase pressure, and make the kicker overthink the easy pass into the onion bag.
