CIF Playoffs

Forward and wide back. She has missed a ton of games because of YNT camps and ECNL. I think that ZD's daughter is her teammate. Sweet kid too.
We love that kid. She's the type of fast-forward who makes things look effortless.... especially when going against those "Big Girl" types

Break what news? Who cares about college defenders and what is the significance to whether HS soccer is more dangerous than club soccer? My DD holds her own and has no skill issues or issue playing HS as you tried to insinuate. 1.4 goals per game average, 3.6 points per game average and that includes the game she was taken out by a Flight 2 player, who received a yellow card because it was dangerous soccer and the 2 games she was only allowed to play partial games due to concussion protocol. If she didn't miss 8 games and play 3 partial games she would probably have lead all Div 1 scoring in OC. 5 of the games she played were against teams in the Div 1 CIF finals. I would think she is doing ok and can hold her own. Again, my point was it is more dangerous than ECNL for my DD.

Obviously, you lack comprehension reading skills.

Anyways, thanks for providing info about your DD and slowing unveiling your own identity. Your DD is a D1 HS sophomore in the OC and plays ECNL as a forward. Meaning your DD is most likely a 2001 player, you brag about how many goals she has scored in HS. That means she must play for Blues, WCFC or Slammers. You might as well post what club your with, lmao!

I forgot to add, of the 5 games she played 2 were against schools in the CIF finals.....I got you!

Sophomore player in her second and last year of varsity. I do not believe a player is wiser because they trip or run into a fast player to stop them. I used the term fast, not because she is the typical Socal fast forward, but because if she was slow she would not get injured and it would not be dangerous for her - she will get hurt when a player uses bad/uncoordinated player 'tactics' to stop her when moving fast. The original subject was that HS is more dangerous which I firmly believe it is for a player in her position because of other girls that are out of control and not as skilled on the field. I won't be shocked at fast big girls pacing my daughter - that is not the issue. HS soccer will probably not make a high skilled player more effective in ECNL. I have seen what happens in ECNL club practices after HS, the coach spends a week correcting all the bad habits that rubbed off on the girls. NG's articulation had no substance as it relates to my DD.
I will say your DD is I.D. who plays club soccer for the SoCal Blues-Baker 2001 team and a U15 YNT player. She also plays for JSerra. You made it to easy for me!

Ladiesman 217 aka T.D. I have a question, did you ever play with Cal Ripken Jr?

TD, I also forgot congrats to your DD committing to Santa Clara!

BTW, I am harmless at 5'4" and 145 lbs.

I am not obsessed with Star Wars, I just think space ships make any movie better. Queen Amadala's shiny silver one from "The Phantom Menace" would look great parked my front yard. It's big enough to hold some family and friends with room for surfboards, but it isn't too big.

Sil, I hear ya. Troy has not lost a league game in three years. However, one must take into consideration the teams within the league. Troy has one real opponent, Sunny Hills. The other teams, are, well, a nice bunch of kids that love the game. I am having trouble with the manner in which schools were placed in divisions. I am bummed, my girl suffered an MCL level 2 sprain during league and won't be playing. All fun and games.

Brian: Sorry to hear that... Troy is on a roll. I told KC they better run the table after knocking the Knights out. My girl stepped on the field for the first time since surgery for about 7 minutes in the second half for some set plays. Funny thing is she almost got one in on the first time she touched it. Your defender got a touch on it. That made the loss easier to take.

On another note, I just have to share how impressed I was with Troy's campus that afternoon. What a great campus with so much going on at 3:30 in an afternoon - no wonder they do so well academically.

Sierra Canyon (private school) is the best HS team I have watched play this year and my DDs team played 4 Baseline League D1 non-league schools in Etiwanda, Upland, Los Osos and Rancho. They're are coached by Kristy Walker the 98/99 and 99 Real SoCal ECNL coach. They play like a top club team.

They will go deep in CIF Regional playoffs.
