Is it LA Galaxy South Bay or Beach South Bay? I have heard that FRAM is a sinking ship and CDA Slammers is pushing them out. Any thoughts?

Galaxy doesn’t have any older teams. My daughter played on the ‘03 Elite team. The team left as a whole and moved to FRAM and has a new coach (Marine Cano, head coach at CSU DH). The other 03 team fell apart. I believe all of the 02s left and went to Steel.

Slammers don’t have any 02 or 04 teams and only had one 03 team that lost 6 or 7 players to FRAM (Alba).
Beach also lost several players in the 03 age group - top team has only about 11 of 12 players. I believe the only 04 team there may be flight 2. The Chirgwn 02 team at Beach has done well. The 02 Tuttle team is apparently geared towards just having fun and not looking to play any big tournaments or college showcases.
Fram 01/02 is a strong team finished tied for first in their bracket at the Silverlakes Summer Showcase and has a good showing at Legends. The 03 age group has 3 team, two of which will play flight 1, including my daughters team (Discovery team).

What age group? This will help in identifying coaches and/or playing styles.

Curious about this claim. Are you talking about the DOC that got fired (sorry, contract not renewed) by both the club and his college D1 Asst coaching job in the same month, and then took a job coaching B teams at the next closest club? Not sure what that bodes for either the former club or the coach/DOC, but I might suggest you left out some details.

Galaxy does have olders. There is a 2003 DPL team which was moved from LAGOC to LAGSB. Yes, there were 18 players and families extremely bitter and angry especially since the families were not told until April and had a great season. I guess you can tell we were one. LAGOC didn't retain ONE family based on that. Sorry I digressed from the OP question.

I don't know. Was too far for us to travel so we didn't pursue it. But they didn't offer either. I think LAGOC thought the players would stay with them. Its too bad we ended up in 5th place and didn't play as many games as those ahead of us. We played 18 while the teams in front of us played 19+ games.
