All positions are valued but where do you put your most versatile player?

hOLy S4iT! I actually agree with you.

Depends on what else you have on the team.
If you have a weak backline, then that player might wind up in the back.
If your defense is a brick wall without that player, how does your team like to attack?
I like fast wingers with good skill. I like aggressive strikers that fight for every ball and press like mad if they lose it. I like my holding mid to tackle hard and make smart decisions with the ball. I like my attacking mids to have great vision and finishing abilities.
I feel that many teams miss by not playing their highly skilled players with great speed and endurance at the 2 or the 3. I like those roles to get forward and give my team a numbers up advantage.

I also want to answer 'everywhere'. Hopefully that player is getting playing time at almost every position (or at least some defense, mid and offense). Especially on a youth team.

Keeper of course. If you truly want to play possession based soccer you need a keeper with great foot skills. Combine that with the need to have great hands, dive and sacrifice their body for a save, and never make an error, keeper is the only choice.
