First year for '05 DA discussion

1-1 with both...parent group not happy with either result. Kudos to opponent GKs I'd guess! As always in soccer, need to be coached to play as a team not individuals. They should turn it around given the talented young ladies they have.
"Coached to play as a team not individuals" best quote ever. Very hard to find good coaching

RSC played Pats last weekend and LA Premier yesterday. If they had all their top 05s play their age group then things could’ve been very different.

Since many of you have watched a number of games, which teams are playing possession based soccer and which ones aren't? Is there a mandate for all DA teams to play one way or the other?

Only commenting on my daughters age group. Watch LAG 05. And, Thorns.

I went to watch Albion vs La Galaxy this past weekend. I think LA Galaxy played pretty good posssession soccer. That team has some very good athletic and skilled players . My daughter and I where very impressed with their center mid (number 10).. man.. she can ball

One of the players on the opposing team this past weekend told my daughter, “Why don’t you actually do something with the ball? Or else you’re going to find your face in the ground.”

:):) Haha. Nice.

Needless to say, although my daughter decided to take the high ground and didn’t say anything back to her, on the way home we had an excellent conversation about nice choice phrases she can use for next time. Of course for this game, an easy comeback for my daughter would have been, “What’s the score?” while counting off the goals on her fingers.
