Cerritos Memorial Cup 2018

Picks:
Group A
Surf Select
Group B
Heat
Group C
Pat's DA slight edge over Surf ECNL
Group D
Toss up. Blackhawks or SD Force. Blackhawks usually have some athletes out there. SD Force has a good brand of futbol. It will come down to their match up.
Very close to how it came out. Surf out of Group A, Heat out of Group B, Surf ECNL out of Group C and Scottsdale out of Group D. Surf A and Heat in the finals with end result Surf taking it 3-1. The Heat are very good off their set plays, but Surf was the better team yesterday.

PS to the Heat parents, if your team is going to play physical, don't act so surprised when the opponent starts to give it back; for a team as physical as you are you sure don't like it when your girls are the ones getting banged around.

Surf has the size and physicality to match teams in that respect.

The Surf team in the lower bracket at MC was made up of girls from Hawaii, Utah, CA and Washington I believe. We played them in the final, very physical game that we (Freedom) ended up losing in the final minute on a wind aided 50 yard boot. Surf team was super physical (had a girl red carded at the end of the game, could've had at least one more red carded for dissent towards the ref, but he didn't see it after he gave the girl a yellow). Good experience for our girls.

Dissent is only a Yellow card. For a Red card it would have to be offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures.

I don't know you or your kid(s), but I do know that there is a high chance that they kids will be the ones paying the price for adults not being able to get along and spewing shit on a soccer forum. Perhaps the adults on this forum, including you, should take a step back and make sure that their posts aren't hurting any kids, who by the way have NOTHING to do with this forum. We are the adults, let's start acting like it.

It came right after he had just given her a yellow, so it would have been her second yellow, which would mean a red card.....

7 Slammers teams, I'll put my money on Slammers!
As you guys said, 3 of 4 brackets were won by Slammers, including 06s who impressively won their bracket.

CDA McCray certainly turned some heads by making into the semis. Who are they? Never heard of them but they won EGSL Champions and looks like put up a decent fight against the winners.

They were wearing Pateadores uniforms. Moving over to CDA?
