2018 CRL (California Regional League) G06

Damn, "Group of Death" talks can now begin...

Group D looks like the softest, Groups A-C seem to have 1-3 competitive teams per grouping.

I did a quick look at State Cup/National Cup and this is what I found:

IE SURF G06 PREMIER DO---Semi Finals in Presidents Cup
Legends FC G06 FC---Quarter Finals in National Cup
Real So Cal G06 Pre-Academy---Quarter Finals National Cup
San Diego SC G2006 Academy Navy---Quarter Finals National Cup
AC Brea---Didn't make it out of Bracket in Presidents Cup
West Coast FC C. Swanson---Didn't make it out of Bracket in Presidents Cup but I know they have added some new players
Arsenal FC Central Coast G06 Black---Couldn't find them
North Valley S - G2006--Couldn't find them
Pateadores RA G2006---Couldn't find them
The rest of the teams didn't make it out of Bracket at National Cup. I think West Coast D.Swanson, So Cal Academy, and South Valley stand a good chance of making it even though they didn't make it out of Bracket for National Cup.

Speculating based on the past...

Last year the 2005s had 13 teams that played over 6 weekends, 1 of which was a 3 day weekend, 1 game per day. Everyone played everyone else 1x, so there was 1 bye per team.

Currently the 2006 play dates for 2018-2019 are spread over 5 weekends, 1 of which will be a three day weekend, for a total of 11 games if teams only play 1 game per day like last year. That means 12 teams, no byes.

That would seem to imply more that 12 teams like there were last year. If 16 teams, and only 11 play dates, we must be doubling up games some days or maybe adding more dates? I liked 1 game per day.

I believe the Legends team that you mentioned above that was in the qtr finals was the Legends South team.

And the Legends South team is not participating in CRL this year.

Seems that if their taking 2 from each bracket, then there are only 2 of the top 6 auto qualifiers that are coming back. Anybody know who is are isn't?

Think Albion plans on being in
