There is a reason why Olivia Moultrie left the Blues and did not continue with the Blues. His youngest daughter played with my daughter and I got the chance to talk to KC and had a long discussion on why he pulled her out of the Blues team. So I wouldn’t give Rob R credit on that 13 year old you mentioning.

Care to share the details?

Unfortunately I’m not in respect to KC and knowing how you blow things up out of proportion. But let’s just say he wasn’t too pleased with the way things were going there and pulled her out of the Blues team prematurely and we’ll leave it that.
It seems to be a theme with them as they’ve don’t this at a few places when they aren’t given what they want. I wouldn’t pin that on RR but your point is still valid. OM’s Development comes from far more than any Club Coach.

lol@ people aruging and hyper-defending u8 teams and u8 coaches. An actual list? yezus christ. Best youth coaches at tot ages are in Sunday Leagues - and it wont cost you more than a couple hundred bux for the year

Also have younger teams to add to your list:
Ocampo
Barclay
Whitaker
For the money spent on some of the teams (not ones you mentioned) I'd rather put my kid with a local latino based club and give money to someone who can add more solid technical training. Found a little local tot team with a young coach with energy and send my kid to Burgi Hoffman weekly. Im sure the tot will be okay as he ages - my wallet will thank me as well. Maybe when he is 8 or 9 we can plan to kill all the 7v7s around. hah. #priorities

@Kicker4Life The Gaffer Rob R is the Best youth coach I have ever seen, he puts so much time into development and finding the best girls. He Found my Fifi at 4 and called us to check in monthly and came to her Latin League games just to watch. He then coached my Daughters Latin league team in Santa Ana for Free in there Hello kitty KITS.
recruited at 4? think you won the SOCALSOCCER Board for youngest recruited child. Red flag on a coach who comes out to watch 4yr olds and calls parents to see how their 4 year old girl is doing. I thought I was reading something from the Onion for a second. This guy is the best recruiter ever if he can get parents of 4 year olds not calling the cops over calling them up and asking about their 4 year old kid.

This guy takes his craft serious clearly. How could you not want to play for this guy???

yeah i think a ton of us have been around club soccer a long time, some for a reaaaaaaaally long time. some of us even know too many of these people personally. In the "Rule Book of Youth Sports ", I believe the rule of avoiding coaches trying to recruit children barely out of diapers, and not even in school yet, would be in the Top 3.
