Since other age groups have a games of the week thread I figured I would start one for the '05s.

Boca vs Celtic (Sunday) - If Celtic loses, their hopes of a league title greatly diminish with a 4th league loss.

Legends vs Strikers Martinez 1 (Sunday) - Winner of this game probably wins the league.

LA Galaxy vs CDA Slammers Nualart (Saturday) - Both teams are undefeated but I expect Galaxy to win by 3 goals.

LAUFA vs Strikers South Coast (Saturday) - LAUFA has been rolling and South Coast hasn't lost with only 1 tie; however, I think LAUFA wins by a couple goals and keeps pace with Galaxy for first in the North.

Any games I missed worth noting this weekend?

Assuming it's the same Legends we played at Surf Cup, I'm interested to see how it goes. Surf Cup was horrible 9v9, small field and Strikers won 3-0, all headers from throw ins. This should be a much better game.

I agree with all of these. Let's play ball and see if the prognosticators are on point.

That pretty much wrapped up the league for Strikers Martinez.

But, the best weekend was had by Strikers South Coast. They beat LAUFA and Galaxy in the same weekend. Kudos to them.

Looks like Celtic is done now suffering their 4th loss before the halfway point of league.
 
Good Games!
Strikers Martínez is a good team and they play good style soccer.
Their center mid makes the difference!
Legends is not good soccer at at all.
Big and long ball, not my style that I enjoy.
Kudos to Strikers South Coast!!
They beast the last two games!!
Those two centers backs are amazing!!!
Their keeper has to be one of the best!!

Strikers GK made a great save on a Legends break away, giving the D just enough time to catch up and clean it up...

Not sure what Legends team you are watching. But most of the time, they touch the ball around. And Strikers Center mid #17 is definitely one of the best.

We just beat Strikers South Coast 7-0 playing good soccer and I'm not so sure about their keeper. At least the games I have watched.

All in all, Strikers Martinez, as I've said many times, is still the team to beat.
