Try Legends with coach Matt Evans. They train out of Silver Lakes. Not to far from parts of Yorba Linda. But, again that's not North OC.

I am assuming all the usual suspects have full rosters. You may want to reach out directly to the coaches and have your daughter go to a training.

Fullerton Rangers has a good program. I would start there. Just for the record, my kids are not part of that club (too expensive for me).

I live in Yorba Linda and my daughter plays for Strikers North. The team is a solid flight 2 team. Coach is Isaac Ayala (562-453-8178) and the practices currently are at Tuffree school in Placentia on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 - 8 pm. I was told that the home games in the Fall will be played at El Dorado HS.

Rangers and Anaheim Surf. If you care to drive 20-25 minutes to Great Park many South County teams to choose from. Legends Silverlakes will take you over an hour normally if you leave after 330pm.

20-25 minutes with no traffic to Great Park. With practice hours during rush hour, this is more like 45 to 1 hour.

THere's Legends YL, Pats PYL, Rangers, Brea, Chelsea, Anaheim Surf, Slammers fullerton, Strikers FC North, La Mirada or even some teams in Chino Hills that are much closer to YL than going to South County or Corona. OC Boca Juniors and I am sure I am missing a couple of others in Orange.

Super informative. I don't think any of these have Tier 1 level G05 teams right now - maybe one or two do? doesn't appear so by standings and brackets? - but there's definitely no shortage of good club/team options near Yorba Linda where a U13 player can develop and enjoy soccer. If I was going to drive my player somewhere, I'd head closer to the ocean!

Great Park is adding 6 more fields, from YL at 5pm it's 20-25 minutes. You have carpool and going against traffic. Have 2-3 friends doing it now. Many more flight 1 teams to choose from. Deep South County much longer.

A few Flight 1 teams in the North OC area – CDA Slammers FC Orange, Anaheim Surf, Slammers FC Tustin, LA Galaxy OC, Legends FC.

Of all the teams, "buyer beware" with Orange. They are "picaros" and lack loyalty. BE CAREFUL!

There can be a bad egg at every club, so not sure whom you're referring to exactly in Orange.
As for the G05 coaches they are top class. Erick Hurtarte (flight 1) is a fantastic coach and well respected throughout the socal area. The flight 2 team is coached by Dave Carrillo, brother of Eddie Carrillo, Chapman University & Anaheim Surf, well known in the Orange area. Never heard anything negative about these two G05 coaches.
